I have appreciated your patience and understanding over the summer months as construction of my “was-a-garage-now-is-my-studio” studio progressed.
Thanks to all who have given me encouragement, understanding, advice and every kind of support. Literally, I could not have done it without you (it takes a village to raise an artist?). How in the world does such a crazy-ass idea become reality, you ask? Below, Coddiwomple Studio’s journey unfolds. From the purging of a garage that was stuffed with the detritus and treasures of many lifetimes, though the build-out and construction (salute to Steve and Michelle of Dreamscape Construction LLC), to the celebratory shenanigans under the dragonfly lights, the story amazes me.
Very extra special gratitude goes to my mom, my partner throughout this venture, and to my fabulous sister whose genius can be seen in this photo stream. They continue to lift me—wind under my wings—every day and in every way. Love love love you guys!
